Festival season begins in Luton

The 2010 Luton Arts Festival will see five days of entertainment and attractions, mainly centred around St George's Square in the town centre.

All events are free and take place in the town centre on two stages situated at St George's Square and Market Hill, and a dance tent in Park Square, opposite Yates's.

Thursday 29th: Children's workshops on the St George's Square stage. 
Fibs and Fables storytelling on the Market Hill Stage.

Friday 30th: Fashion Show at St George's Square and Anglo Indian Folk Fusion performance.
Hip Hop Workshop at Market Hill.

Saturday 1st: At St George's Square, "MayDay Luton" features a line up of 12 up and coming indie/rock outfits.
At Market Hill - Odessey Flatland BMX Competiton.

Sunday 2nd: Love Music Hate Racism day at St George's Square.
At Market Hill, the Bedfordshire New Comedian of the Year Finals.

Monday 3rd: A day of Jazz, Blues and Reggae at St George's Square including the Luton Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Festival Ceilidh. 
At Market Hill, a day of rock and rockabilly. At Park Square - Trance and Electro DJ's.
