George Michael's been hurt in an accident on the M1.
The East of England Ambulance service say it happened at 5.47 yesterday evening (Thursday 16th May) at j6a of the M1, the M25 interchange.
The car was travelling along the northbound carriageway when it was involved in a crash.
Gary Sanderson from the East of England Ambulance service told Heart today "A man was lown to a specialist trauma centre in London following a road traffic collision yesterday evening.
Ambulance crews from Garston, St Albans and Watford attended the scene. Due to the nature of the call, the Hertfordshire Air Ambulance was dispatched to the incident.
The man sustained a head injury and following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown to hospital for further care."
The singer's publicist told Heart: "George Michael was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic accident yesterday evening, no third party was involved.
He is being treated for superficial cuts and bruises but is fine. We have no further comment at this time."
