Gun's Stolen From A House In Kensworth

Two rifles and a shot gun have been stolen from a house in Kensworth.

The gun's were kept legally in a gun cabinet at the property on Poplar Road.

Thieves also took cash and a silver jewellery box during the break in that happened sometime between Monday afternoon (17th February) and Tuesday evening (18th February).

DC Joyce is investigating and says: “The silver jewellery box holds significant sentimental value for the victim and can never be replaced. It is also a great concern that whoever has committed this offence has taken three firearms which were legally held at the premises. 

"I would urge anyone who has noticed an unusual person in the area recently or anyone who has information relating to the person who is responsible for this offence to contact the police.”
