Luton Town supporters are having to come to terms with missing out on the chance to move up to football's fourth division - for the second year running.

The Hatters were beaten 2-1 by York City in the Blue Square Premier play-off final at Wembley on Sunday 20 May 2012.  The team lost the equivalent game in 2011, beaten by AFC Wimbledon.

A win would have put Luton back into League Two - the division they were relegated from in 2009.  The result means they now face a fourth season in the Blue Square Premier, and outside the Football League.

A message on the club's official Twitter feed after the match told fans: "Keep the faith. This club will never die. Remember that."
