Luton: Last Chance To Air Your True Views On Town
29 November 2013, 06:00
More than 1000 people have so far contributed to a survey about what they think about Luton.
The town's authority, Luton Borough Council want to understand the reasons why people hold certain views of Luton and work that may need to be done to improve those perceptions.
The short survey has been widely distributed to capture a variety of views and how these differentiate between people who live or work in the borough - and those who occasionally visit.
Views of those who have never been to the town are also being sought - the survey closes at midnight tonight (Friday 29th Nov).
The consultation is part of a wider piece of work the Council is doing to further encourage business growth in Luton.
Questions include how people rate their experiences of Luton, what it's strengths and weaknesses are and words they'd use to describe the town.
Speaking on Heart, Deputy Leader of Luton Borough Council Sian Timoney said: "The results of this survey will provide us with valuable insights into what residents and non-residents alike think of Luton and help us understand how we can best target our investment in the environment to encourage business growth and increase the number of jobs on offer."
