Police investigating the theft of £15,000 of diesel from the South Mimms services on the M25 in Hertfordshire have released pictures of men they want to talk to.

Between 1 April and 10 April 2012, two or three thieves used a fuel card to purchase diesel over a number of occasions.  Police think the fuel was fraudlently taken to be illegally sold on.

PC Sophie Stalley, who is investigating, said: “We believe the men pictured may have witnessed something or have key information in relation to these crimes.

“I strongly urge these men or anyone who knows them to get in touch with police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference J1/12/1258. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
