Man Attempts To Lure 10 Year-Old Girl Into Car

Police are looking for information after a 10 year-old girl was approached by a man in Garden Road, Dunstable.

It happened at around 4pm yesterday (Friday) when the girl was walking along by herself when the man, in a white vehicle, tried to get her into the vehicle. The girl was able to get away and make her way to a family member's house. Although upset, she is unharmed.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 4ins tall, old in age and balding with white hair and stubble, a deep voice and wearing a red T-shirt, blue shorts and possibly Nike trainers.
 
Police are currently making enquiries, including with CCTV, to establish further details but would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Garden Road and may have seen anything at all suspicious.
