Man Dies And Another Injured After Crash

A 24 year old man has died when he crashed into a lamp post in Letchworth last night (Tuesday April 12th).

He was driving a red Honda Civic Type R which crashed in Icknield Way at around 10.15.

An ambulance took the man the Lister Hospital, where he died.

The passenger, a 25 year old man from Letchworth, received injuries and was also taken to the Lister Hospital.
 
PC Kevin Sloan has been telling Heart: "We are trying to establish the circumstances of the collision and I am appealing for anyone who saw the Honda prior to the collision or anyone who saw the collision occur to contact police as soon as possible via the non-emergency number, 0845 3300 222."
