Bedfordshire Police have charged a 42 year old man over a five-hour siege that saw part of Leighton Buzzard cordoned off.
Armed officers were called out to Bridge Street, Leighton Buzzard at 5pm on Tuesday 5 February 2013 because of concerns for a man inside a flat above a shop, who was believed to have a gun.
Police negotiators spent the next five hours talking to the man.
