Teenager Stabbed In Leg

Detectives in Luton are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old received a stab wound to his leg.

He was riding his bike in the playing field on Crawley Green Road at 6pm last Friday (June 10th) when he was approached by another youth.

The victim was riding through the park on his bike when he was approached by another youth. Initially the conversation was pleasant but it aggressive and the victim tried to leave.

The attacker took a knife from his pocket and began to wave it around, causing the victim to suffer a wound to his leg.

Police say the attacker was black, approximately six feet tall of large, stocky build. He had short black afro style hair and a small amount of stubble on his chin. He was wearing a grey hooded top, blue jeans and black and red Skyline bubble trainers.

Detective Constable Nicholas Oates, investigating, said: "The victim's injuries were not life threatening but this was a serious incident and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed it or saw the offender in the area at the time of the offence."
