Engineers have been trying to restore water supplies to around 2,000 homes in Luton after a water main burst.
It happened in Guildford Street overnight on Thursday 10 May 2012. Veolia Water said around 2,000 homes in the LU2 area were affected by the burst.
Veolia have thanked people for their patience. A statement posted on their website at 8.30am said: "Our team are now on site and have located the burst. We are starting work on repairing this and hope to have supplies restored as soon as possible."
Shortly after 10.30am, Veolia reported supplies were being switched on, but the pressure might initially be lower than normal while it builds back up.
