9 Year Old Grabbed In Lowestoft

A nine year old girl has been grabbed by a couple in Lowestoft, as she waited to cross the road.

It happened at around 5:45pm last Thursday (4 September) in Beccles Road.  The girl was waiting to cross at a pedestrian crossing when a couple approached her and the woman grabbed her wrist, and then tried to grab her arm.  The girl then ran away.

Officers are trying to trace the couple. The woman is described as white, aged in her 40s, with mousy brown hair in a bob, a slim face, of average build and wearing jeans top and coat.  The man is described as tall and skinny, aged in his 50s, with greying hair tied/swept back and wearing a knee to ankle length black leather coat.
