Brundall: Armed Police Called To Man With Knives

Armed police and a negotiator have been called to a Norfolk McDonalds after reports of a man with two knives.
Officers were called just before 3am when he was spotted in a distressed state in Tesco on Ipswich Road in Norwich.
He was then found at McDonalds on Yarmouth Road in Brundall.
Armed response units and a negotiator were called to the scene, the restauarant was evacuated and a cordon was put in place on the car park.
At about 4.15am the man left the premises.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre where he remains in custody and will be questioned later.
No members of the public or police officers were hurt in the incident.
