Bury: Men Arrested For Attempted Murder

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was injured in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called at approximately 6.45pm on Monday, 3 November to reports of a disturbance on Ridley Road.
On arrival, police found a man suffering from chest and facial injuries. He was taken to West Suffolk General Hospital for further treatment.
Two men were located shortly afterwards, arrested and taken to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Richard McClenaghen, aged 47 years of no fixed abode Bury St Edmunds and Jamie Turner, aged 43 years of Caie Walk, Bury St Edmunds have both been charged with attempted murder and will appear before Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court this morning, Wednesday 5 November.
