Ipswich: Man Arrested Over Assault

A 30-year-old man from Ipswich has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of sexual offences following an alleged assault.

A woman, in her 20s, reported to police that she was walking along the Burrell Road at approximately 8am on Saturday 13th when she was approached by a man who, forced her into some nearby bushes and allegedly assaulted her.

A man was arrested on Tuesday night and has now been released on bail until 3 February 2015.

Police are still appealing for witnesses and have asked anyone with information to contact Ipswich CID on 101 quoting reference number IC/14/5161.
