Teenager Arrested After Ipswich Stabbing

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in the Stoke Park area yesterday.

It happened in a car park near St Catherine's Court at around 1.20pm and a person wearing dark clothing was seen running from the scene.

The victim, who is also 15, was taken to Ipswich hospital with a stab wound in the back where he remains in a stable condition.

The teenager arrested has been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

A cordon that was put in place around the area at the time has now been lifted.
