Search Continues For Woman Missing Off Felixstowe Coast

A search is continuing for a woman who's been reported missing from a yacht off the coast of Felistowe.

The vessel sank after crashing with a dredger yesterday afternoon.

A man on board was pulled to safety and taken to hospital, but a woman is still missing.

Several life boats and teams, including a helicopter from RAF Wattisham, have been assisting with the search.

A lifeboat then continued searching throughout the night and more boats went to help this morning, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said.

A spokesman said: "Further rescue resources have joined in the search again this morning, including a coastguard search and rescue helicopter and two lifeboats - one from Harwich and the other from Walton."
