Shipdham: Body Found Following House Fire

An elderly man has died after a house fire in Shipdham.

Police and fire crews were called to reports of a fire at a property in The Green just before 6pm on Sunday night.

The body of a man was then found inside.

An investigation has begun to determine what caused the blaze.

The death is being treated as unexplained and the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.

A seal remains on the property and investigations to establish the cause of the fire are expected to take place this morning.
