A man has threatened two women with a knife at a shop in Norwich.
It happened between 9.50pm and 10pm last night (21 December) at Silver Stores in Silver Street.
The robber grabbed one of the workers by the neck while demanding cash from the other staff member.
The suspect got away with several hundred pounds and a number of scratch cards. The workers locked the door after he left and called police.
Sgt Andy Duddle, from Norwich CID, who is overseeing the investigation, said: "Fortunately no one was injured during the incident however both women were understandably left very distressed by what happened.
"The suspect was wearing dark clothing, a dark coloured jacket with the hood, a woollen hat and had his mouth covered. He had beige cargo trousers and wore trainers.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a man fitting this description in the area before or after the incident."
