Woman Attacked By Dog

A woman's been injured after a "Staffordshire Bull Terrier'' type dog attacked her dog in Ipswich.

The incident happened in Burrell Road at around 3pm on December 30.

Suffolk Police said the woman was walking her dog along the Tow Path next to the river, which joins Burrell Road.

Another dog, described as a "Staffordshire Bull Terrier'' type, approached her.

It attacked her dog and the victim sustained a small cut to her arm as she tried to stop the incident.

Her dog sustained minor injuries.

The owner of the white 'Staffordshire Bull Terrier' type animal is described as a white man, between 25 to 30, about 6ft, slim, with short dark hair and wearing dark coloured clothing and a black "eanie'' style hat.
