Woman Sexually Assaulted In Stowmarket

A 20-year-old woman has reported being attacked whilst walking down a footpath between Windermere Road and Curwen Road.

It happened at around 12pm yesterday when the woman was approached by a man who grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.

He then made off in the direction of Windermere Road. 

A police cordon put in place at the time around the area has now been lifted.

The attacker is described at white, about 5ft 9ins tall, of medium to stocky build, with light brown or blond short, curly hair. He was wearing a light grey fleece top and blue jeans.
