Woman's Body Found In Leiston

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Leiston.

Officers were contacted shortly before 1:30pm on Tuesday 3 September following concerns for the welfare of a woman inside a residential property on Main Street. They forced their way into the house and found the body of a local woman in her 20s.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained while officers ascertain the events leading up to the woman's death.
