The countdown's on to this year's summer concerts at Audley End House and Gardens near Saffron Walden, supported by Heart.

This year, the concerts take place over two weekends with Paul Weller performing on Saturday July 26th. Paul, known as The Modfather, will perform a set including his biggest songs from his career spanning four decades along with Motown classics.

The following weekend sees some of the 80s' most iconic acts take to the stage for the Greatest 80s Party Ever! on Saturday, August 2nd, hosted by Martin and Su from Heart Breakfast.

Tony Hadley, T'Pau, Midge Ure, Heaven 17, Katrina (ex Katrina and the Waves), John Parr and Johnny Hates Jazz will be performing hits including Gold, Vienna, Temptation and Walking on Sunshine.

This year's season of open air picnic concerts concludes with the now-traditional Last Night of the Audley End Proms on Sunday, August 3rd.

The concert will feature Laura Wright, Camilla Kerslake, Gardar Thor Cortes and Amy Dickson accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

The evening will also include a dramatic Grace Spitfire display and a stunning firework display.

Doors will open early for concert goers to enjoy the East Park and picnic. There will be ample food and drink stalls, as well as a bar and a concert shop.

Tickets are available here, priced from £40 (£37 for English Heritage members)
