I took part in the Race for life this year, for the first time. This is for my daughter Jo who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Nov 2009. Her friends joined us in this "walk" to support Jo who had only had treatment 2 days prior to the race. She walked with us. She has stayed so strong and positive throughout all this. I loved the words on her back card which said " I am doing Race for Life for ME, Bald, Boobless but not Beaten! May she continue in this frame of mind throughout the rest of her treatment.
