Basildon: Man Hurt In Hit And Run
A pedestrian has been injured in a hit and run in Basildon.
Emergency services were called to the Laindon Link, near its junction with Elizabeth Way, at around 9:20am on Saturday (March 23rd).
A 39-year-old man from the Pitsea area suffered back injuries after he was hit by a dark coloured hatchback car which then drove off along Elizabeth Way.
The injured pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Basildon hospital for treatment to injuries which were not believed to be serious.
