Basildon: Motorcyclist Dies In Road Crash

A motorcyclist has died in a road crash in Basildon.

Emergency services were called to Broadmayne, at the traffic light junction with The Staples, at just before 5pm yesterday (Sunday 2nd February).

The collision involved a red Suzuki motorcycle, a red Ford S-Max car and a silver Toyota Celica car.

The motorcyclist, believed to in his 30s and from London, died at the scene.

The driver of the Celica had to be cut free from his vehicle by the fire service and suffered slight injuries.

A section of Broadmayne was closed for a number of hours whilst investigations were carried out.
