Belt Place Around Grays Robbery Victim's Neck

A man's been robbed in Grays after having a belt placed around his neck.
Essex Police have told Heart a man in his 40s from Grays was approached by two black men in First Avenue, as the victim walked to his car parked at the junction of London Road, at 8.50pm on Friday, April 11.
The placed a belt around his neck and then punched him in the face. He was taken to his vehicle, a black Volkswagen Golf, where the suspects demanded his money. A three-figure sum of cash was stolen.
The suspects are described as being aged in their 20s and of muscular build. One was wearing a grey tracksuit top.
The victim sustained swelling to his eye and a number of cuts to his face which required hospital treatment. The suspects are believed to have left the scene in a silver vehicle travelling towards Purfleet.
