Brentwood: Man Injured After Grinder Accident

A man's suffered a 'life changing' leg injury after being injured by a grinder in Brentwood.

The ambulance service was called at 11.37, today (Friday), dispatching an ambulance and the Herts Air Ambulance to Hutton in Essex.

An ambulance spokesperson said: "We worked closely with the critical care team from the air ambulance to treat a man, thought to be in his 20s, who suffered a significant leg injury.

"He was taken by land ambulance to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment."

It follows a similar incident in Dunmow last month.
