Clacton MP Douglas Carswell Defects To UKIP

Clacton's Conservative MP, Douglas Carswell, has dramatically announced he's defecting to join UKIP.

At a press conference earlier he said he believed David Cameron and senior Conservatives were not "serious about real change"

The Clacton MP entered Parliament in 2005.
