Clacton: Woman Jumps From Window To Flee Fire

A woman has been injured after she jumped from a first floor window to escape a fire at her home in Clacton.

Three fire crews and paramedics were called to Castle Road just before 3am today (Saturday 13 July).

The 30-year-old was conscious but has suffered back injuries.

A joint Police and Fire Service investigtion will be carried out to find out how the fire started.
