Colchester Stranger Invites Boy Into His Car

Essex Police are investigating after a 10 year-old boy's told his parents a man's tried to get him into his car.

Essex Police say the 10 year-old was cycling in Forest Road at about 4.15pm on Monday (June 23rd) when a man driving a blue car stopped and invited him into the vehicle.

The boy immediately rode home and told his parents who contacted police.

Detectives say anyone with information about the car driver, who was described as being white, aged about 40-50, and with grey hair and grey stubble, should contact police on 101 - and ask for the investigating officer Pc Joanne Barlow at Colchester police station.
