Police are urging people in Harlow to study an e-fit of a man they want to speak to following the attempted rape of a woman in the town.
Officers believe the man is still in the Harlow area and would like to hear from anyone who recognises the e-fit or believes they may have seen him.
The victim, a 65-year-old woman, was attacked in Southern Way on Sunday September 28. She was walking along the road at around 6am when the man approached her and began talking to her. He had told her he was homeless and from Romania, before pushing her into bushes and attacking her.
He is described as white, aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 4in to 5ft 5in tall, of small to medium build, with short dark hair and was wearing a blue checked shirt and light trousers.
