V Festival 2011

Rhianna and Eminem headlined the 16th V Festival in Chelmsford.

180 thousand people packed into Hylands Park over the weekend as acts like Plan B, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, Jessie J and The Wanted also took to various stages.

Eminem made a reported £2million for headlining the festival.

Rihanna, who joined him on stage for Love The Way You Lie, didn't come cheap either - apparently pocketing half a million.

They made it the most expensive V in the festival's 16 year history.

Police say the event passed successfully with a crackdown on drugs resulting in 87 arrests.

St Johns Ambulance where also kept busy with over 800 people needing help, 13 people were also taken to hospital.
