Essex: Commuter Misery Yet Again

Commuters in Essex have been faced with another morning of misery after problems on the roads and on the trains.

There was delays of around two hours on the M25 after an accident earlier this morning (Friday December 14th).

A car and a tanker collided anticlockwise between junction 26 for Waltham Abbey and 25 for the A10.

For the second morning running, Greater Anglia passengers were delayed by a problem at Gidea Park in east London.

This morning it involved a signalling problem that was holding up services between Shenfield and Romford in Essex.

Another signalling problem - at Ingatestone in Essex - meant there were delays today for Greater Anglia customers travelling between Chelmsford and Liverpool Street station in London.
