Essex: Man Charged Over Fatal M25 Crash

A lorry driver from Germany is due in court this morning (Thursday April 4th) over a fatal crash on the M25 in Essex.

A 79-year-old man from Ilford died, and two others were airlifted to hospital, after the ten vehicle crash between junctions 29 and 30 at 12.30pm on Tuesday April 2nd).

58-year-old Anton Maizen, from Darmstadt, was arrested following a collision on the M25 at Aveley on Tuesday April 2nd.

He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving as well as causing serious injury by dangerous driving and will appear before magistrates in Basildon.
