Essex Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to question in connection with a knifepoint robbery at West Horndon.
The man was caught on camera when a bank card stolen from the victim was used to withdraw cash at a shopping and leisure centre in Romford.
The robbery happened at about 8.45pm on October 26th, when the victim, a man from Basildon, stopped his car at Tilbury Road.
Investigating officer, Dc Sharon Persad, said: "A man appeared from another car parked nearby and brandished a knife at the victim. He was forced to hand over his wallet which contained £30 and various bank cards.
"Before the card could be cancelled it was used to withdraw the maximum of £50 from a cash machine at The Brewery in Romford."
The suspect is about 5ft 10in tall and is aged between 30 and 40. He has a chubby face and is of stocky build. He was wearing a long-sleeved grey and white striped top and a pair of grey jogging bottoms.
Anyone who can identify the man or has information about the robbery should contact Dc Persad at Brentwood CID on 101 or from outside Essex on 0300 333 4444.
