Grays: Man Seriously Injured In Attack

A 35-year-old man's suffered serious injuries after he was attacked while walking to work in Grays yesterday morning (Saturday December 31st).

It happened in Conway Gardens and again in Argent Street at around 2am.

Several men pulled up in a car, spoke to him and then assaulted him. They then drove off and returned to assault him again shortly afterwards.

The man has serious injuries but not believed to be life-threatening. He was taken to hospital for checks and treatment.

Essex Police is appealing for help from the public who may have seen or know anything about the assault which they believe was unprovoked.
