Grays: Woman Hurt Falling in Thames

A woman's been seriously injured after falling into the River Thames at Grays.

Police were called at around 7.30pm on Thursday 28th March, after reports that a woman had been seen to fall from Argent Wharf.

With help from members of the public, a police helicopter and a lifeboat, officers found the woman in her 40s in deep mud. She was taken to hospital and is being treated for hip and pelvic injuries.
