Harlow: Arrest Over Barn Mead Fire

Essex Police say a man has been arrested over fire that claimed the lives of six members of the same family at their home in Harlow.

The 19-year-old, also from Harlow, was detained on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, arson and burglary.

The arrest comes after the deaths of Sabah Usmani, her three sons and two daughters, at their home in Barn Mead, Harlow on 15th October last year .

The man has been bailed until 27th June while further enquiries are carried out.
