Essex Police say they are treating the death of a woman in Harlow as suspicious.
The 25 year old's body was found at an address in Jocelyns just after 1pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday 14 July).
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 38-year-old man from Harlow has been arrested in connection with the death and has been released on bail.
DI Marina Ericsson from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said: "At this time the circumstances leading up to this death of a young woman remain unclear.
"I am looking for anyone who has any information to contact detectives at Harlow police station as soon as possible.”
A post mortem examination on the woman’s body will take place today (Monday 15 July).
