Harlow School In TV Documentary

A new documentary starts on Thursday following the lives of students and teachers at Passmores School in Harlow.

Fixed cameras were installed in the school for a year to follow students and teachers as pupils prepare to take their GCSEs.

Headteacher, Vic Goddard, has been telling Heart it felt a bit like Big Brother: "We had fixed cameras and cameras attached to the walls. There were no actual cameramen in the school."

He said it is a true account of the ups and downs schools face today: "It follows one young man who had a very difficult year and one of our young ladies who got pregnant last year so it shows her struggle and our struggle to keep her in education."

The show starts on Thursday 22 September at 9pm on Channel 4.
