There are worries about the safety of children in Essex after a kitchen knife was found at a play area.
The 4 inch blade was discovered during a clean up in Windsor Avenue, Clacton over the weekend.
Today, Tendring Council will be discussing ways to prevent such a thing happening again.
Councillors Stephen and Danny Mayzes have described the discovery as 'shocking' saying the consequences could have been 'devastating'.
They're warning parents to be vigilant.
