Police are trying to trace eight men after a 30 year old man was stabbed four times in Basildon.
Officers were called by the ambulance service shortly after 3pm yesterday (January 3) following reports that a man had been stabbed in Gloucester Park. They found the man with four stab wounds - one to his chest and three to his legs.
He was taken to hospital in Basildon before being transferred to hospital in London. He is currently in a stable condition but his injuries have been assessed as potentially life-threatening.
Police are looking for seven black men and one white man in connection with the stabbing. One of the black suspects is described as 6ft 2in tall, of slim build and wearing a grey top and bottoms. The white suspect is described as 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, and wearing a blue hooded top.
