Man Stabbed To Death In Bentwood

A murder investigation has started after a man was found stabbed in a street in Brentwood.

Police were called to Tower Hill, near Sir Francis Way, last night (Saturday 27th) after a man was found collapsed.

Despite paramedics efforts, the man died a short time after.

Roads around the area have been sealed off as forensic investigations continue.

Extra police will also patrol Brentwood town centre.

DCI Mark Hall, who is leading the investigation, has appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

He said: "The victim was found with stab injuries close to the town centre on a busy Saturday evening and it is important that I speak with anyone who saw the incident."
