After 3 men with covered faces went into a staff-only area of a Harlow pub before stealing a number of items belonging to workers, police are linking it to two other thefts in the area.
Police say they're appealing for witnesses to a series of incidents on Wednesday evening (Oct 29) between 7.15pm and 8.40pm across Broxbourne and Harlow.
Three men with covered faces entered the staff area of The Moorhen Pub in Burnt Mill Lane, Harlow around 7.15pm and removed personal items before making off.
A second incident then took place around 8.10pm at The Crown Hotel in Old Nazeing Road, Broxbourne, where men with covered faces were seen to enter the staff and living area of the venue to remove personal items before fleeing in a vehicle.
Finally police had reports of three men who brandished a crowbar - then entering the Co Op in Colt Hatch in Harlow around 8.40pm via the back room where they threatened staff and removed cash and personal items.
Police believed a silver or light coloured vehicle may have been used by the suspects.
