The Queen has honoured people across Essex who've served their country, their industry and their communities.

KNIGHTS BACHELOR

Southend West MP David Amess receives a Knights Bachelor hnour for political and public service. 

ORDER OF THE BATH

David Cook (Colchester). Receives the CB honour for services to the Preparation of Legislation.

ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE - CBE

Uma Mehta (Billericay) receives a CBE for services to Children.

Denis Myers (Ingatestone) Deputy Chief of the Health and Safety Executive, receives a CBE for services to Health and Safety. 

Amanda Phillips (Dunmow), receives a CBE for services to Education. 

Judith Salter (Benfleet), Headteacher, Glenwood Special School receives a CBE for services to Education.

John Terry (Colchester), receives a CBE for services to Classical Architecture.

ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE - OBE

Jeremy Moore (Chelmsford), the Liaison Officer for Road Policing Association of chief Police Officers, receives an OBE for services to Road Safety and Policing. 

John Morris, the Headteacher Ardleigh Green Junior School in Havering receives an OBE for services to Education.

Tessa Webb (Brentwood), receives an OBE for services to Probation.

Richard Burlend (Great Dunmow), Mechanical Engineer Ministry of Defence receives an MBE for services to Defence.

Raymond Coe (Benfleet), receives an MBE for services to Education.

Roy Dyer (Brentwood), Founder Essex Dog Training Centre and Founding director, Essex Dog Display Team receives an MBE for services to Dogs and the community in Essex.

Professor Peter Holman (Colchester), receives an MBE for services to Early Music.

Derek Hopkins (Witham), Assistant chief Officer Special Constabulary, Essex Police receives an MBE for services to the community in Essex.

Annemarie Naylor (Colchester) receives an MBE for services to Community Asset Ownership. 

Susan Wigglesworth (Colchester) receives an MBE for services to the community in Polstead.

Nicholas Wright, Chairman JS Wright & Sons receives an MBE for services to the Manufacturing Industry.
