A murder investigation is underway after the body of a Lithuanian man was found in a stream at Noak Hill, Romford.
34 year old Evaldas Svolkinas, a carpenter from Dorking Rise in the town, was last seen at 6.15am on Thursday (December 13th).
He did not go to work and was reported missing to police the following day.
Police were called to Wincanton Road in Noak Hill, Romford at 10.25am on Sunday (December 16th) after a body was found in the nearby Carter's Brook stream.
The man was identified as Mr Svolkinas, and a post-mortem examination found he died from severe head injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Jones said: "We are anxious to trace the victim's movements between Thursday morning and when he was found on Sunday.
"Did you see him? Do you have any information? If so, please come forward.''
