Southend: Pair Arrested Over Nightclub Assault

Two people have been arrested after attending a police station following an appeal to identify four men police want to speak to in connection with a serious assault in a nightclub in Southend on January 15, 2012.

A man in his 20s suffered cuts to the back of his head, a broken jaw, and was temporarily unconscious after he was attacked on the dance floor at Dick De Vignes in Warrior Square.

A 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old man - both from Westcliff - have been arrested on suspicion of GBH. Both have been released on police bail.

Police are now only looking to identify one further man, who's pictured.
