A leaflet is going to be sent to every home in Essex over the next two weeks full of information about the Tour de France.
Some of the world's best cyclists are set to pass through places like Saffron Walden, Chelmsford and Epping on Monday 7th July.
Essex County Council has produced an eight-page leaflet which includes details about the route, travel advice, and handy facts to get everyone in the mood for 'Le Tour'.
Councillor Ann Naylor, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing, said: "The Tour de France is one of the biggest sporting events in the world and having it come to Essex is a great honour.
"I know that people across the county are excited about it and will want to get involved so we want to help by giving them all the information they need for the day.
"This leaflet will help people decide where to watch the Tour and enjoy it to the full."
