Tributes are being paid to a 16-year-old boy who died following a moped accident in Tilbury.
Cameron Phillips died on Sunday when police believe he lost control of his moped in Brennan Road and hit a lamp post.
Cameron's parents, Tony and Denise Phillips, have released a statement on behalf of his family.
They say Cameron was a dearly loved son, brother to Nathan and a good friend to everybody that knew him.
The statement goes on to say Cameron was interested in fishing and liked mechanics. He left school last May and was excited about starting an apprenticeship in welding three weeks ago.
The family have not made any arrangements at this stage regarding Cameron's funeral but say all family members will miss Cameron greatly.
